The Gallery of Beauties is a collection of thirty-six portraits of women from the nobility and middle classes in Munich, painted between 1827 and 1850, done mostly by court artist Joseph Karl Stieler. They featured actresses, a shoe-maker's daughter, and one of the King's mistresses, an Irish born beauty, plus many more.
